The area known as Tanjung Benoa is about a five-minute drive from Nusa Dua, and the two places are often mentioned together. If water sports are what you're after in Bali, then Tanjung Benoa is the place to be. Banana boat rides, para-sailing, jet-skiing, snorkeling and diving are just some of the activities offered, making it a fun day out for the whole family.
There isn't too much in the way of commercial or tourist facilities in Tanjung Benoa. Souvenir shops and restaurants run along both sides of Jl. Pratama, but its nowhere near the scale of Seminyak and Kuta.
A variety of fun water sports can be enjoyed along the beaches of Tanjung Benoa, including banana boat rides para-sailing, jet-skiing and snorkeling. Visibility is not great however, and for divers and snorkelers it's recommended to head further along East Bali or to Nusa Lembongan, where the water is far more clean and clear.
Another popular day time activity is boat-based dolphin viewing or you can charter a boat and try your luck at big game fishing.
Jl. Pratama is where most of the action happens after sunset in Tanjung Benoa. Restaurants catering mainly for tourists offer a choice of local and international menus and some places also have live music. Again, if you're looking to paint the town red it's best to head for the bright lights of Kuta or Seminyak.

There isn't a wide choice of spas in Tanjung Benoa, although most hotels should offer this facility. The usual cheaper spas can be found along Jl. Pratama.

Accommodation in Tanjung Benoa is made up of a couple of small and medium-sized hotels and a few 5 Star resorts. These include the Melia Benoa, Conrad Bali, Grand Mirage, Oasis Benoa, Bali Aston, and Kind Villa Bintang.
