Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali is located in the south of Bali, Indonesia, about 13 kilometers south of Denpasar and is the third busiest international airport in Indonesia. The name of this airport comes from the Indonesian national hero from Bali - I Gusti Ngurah Rai.
A lot of you asking us the question about how to get Kura Kura Bus from the airport? And as you might already know that Kura-Kura Bus doesn't stop at the airport, but we have bus stop quite near from the airport at Aston Kuta Hotel.
Before you read this entire blog, please see first our short video "How to hop on Kura Kura Bus from Denpasar Airport" below:
The nearest Kura Kura bus stop from the airport is at Aston Kuta Hotel, which is about 10-18 minutes on foot.
From the airport, follow the exit road to Jl. Segara Merta (Segara Merta Road).
Kura-Kura Tips: There are shortcuts that will cut your walking time from the airport to Jl. Segara Merta. Google Maps didn't showing this shortcuts because Google Maps only following the road which is already seen on the map. From arrival, follow the exit road to the car parking area (MLCP) located on the north side of international arrivals. And then, from the parking area, you need to cross the road to Jl. Segara Merta by following the walking path (it’s safe) that are seen in our video above.
After you found Jl. Segara Merta, you just need to follow that path until you find the main road. Turn left on the main road and about 50 meters you will find Aston Kuta Hotel with Kura Kura Bus stop sign on the right side.
