Orang Utan (Orang – people, Utan – forest) are exclusively Asian species and native to Indonesia and Malaysia, found in the rainforest of Borneo (Kalimantan) and Sumatra. Considered to be among the most intelligent primate, Orang Utan generally spend most of their time in trees, with fruit as their most important diet. Critically endangered, this species can live up to 30 years and here at Bali Zoo, Orang Utans are lovingly conserved to ensure their ongoing preservation.

Starts at 08.00 am, breakfast with Orang Utan is a program by Bali Zoo, with the main purpose of close encounter with this particular animal and raise awareness of their current state.

The main highlight is obviously, taking your souvenir photos with this lovely primates, which you can purchase upon check out or use your own gadget for your memories. Orang Utans however is not just the highlights of the show, with mammals like Elephants and cockatoo birds are on display ensuring visitors get their ultimate experience.

Breakfast served consist of American style buffet breakfast. The Freshly picked salad are great for vegetarians while the omelette station offered freedom for you to choose any style of eggs that you prefer.

Starting your day with enough nutrients is paramount but doing so while enjoying a close encounter with these beautiful animals are even more priceless. Definitely recommended as one of the great ideas while in Bali.

This activity includes entrance to Bali Zoo, which offers several other shows such as Bird Presentation at Bird Stage, perched high overlooking the valley or animal encounters. Whether arriving early in the morning or later in the afternoon, with the pre-arranged time schedule visitors will always find happiness aplenty at Bali Zoo.

Kura-Kura Bus, as the only private shuttle bus in Bali with public bus license operates to Bali Zoo from 1st October 2017. Our Ubud Line visit Bali Zoo 8 times a day, from our main bus bay (terminal) or from Ubud. Make sure to check our time schedule and ensure that you plan your trip ahead as Ubud Line is our favourite line, with many passengers are expected to use this service.
