Ever wonder what the best village in Indonesia is? According to The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the village of Jasri in east Bali is the best tourist village of 2013.
The popular tourist village beat out 138 other villages from 29 provinces, all of which were assessed throughout the year, and allocated funds from the state budget to help develop facilities. Second place went to the village of Nglanggeran near Yogyakarta, while Samiran village near Selo received the title of third best tourist village.
The assessment was based on the number of jobs created, the number of businesses established and the number of tourists who visited each village.
Jasri is a relaxed little village located just past Candi Dasa that offers good surfing opportunities as well as it's very own Chocolate Factory
